This is a view of Nanning from our hotel window. This is an afternoon picture when the sun had come out a little.
This is the morning picture of the city from our hotel.
If any one was interested in what the squaty potty looked like ....here it is! The McDonald's we went to today only had the squaty's(unlike the McDonald's in Beijing) I attempted to have Megan use this today..out of necessity only. What a joke! I am assuming once you get a hang of it or figure it out it is not as tough as I made it! I also forgot Megan had put her sunglasses on top of her head...so guess what fell off into the squaty? Yep.

Foyer of hotel....looks nice enough, right! It's not horrible...I mean it could be worse. Just a lot more difficulties than the one in Beijing and the hotel we stayed in with Megan's adoption. The rooms aren't very clean and are very hot. The breakfast...which is usually the one meal you can depend on here, does not have very much western foods. Still all worth it to bring Lauran home!

Nice picture of the bunch. Say Hi to Mary & Todd also. The Hotel looks pretty good but does not sound like the best. If you saw a 4 star toilet, what could you expect from a 5 star hotel? lol. Sure glad I am not there. If I had to get down on that floor for the squaty potty, I would never get up. What do the old folks do? Buy My Megan some new glasses at Wal Mart!
Love Mom/Grandma
Ha! Love the potty! Maybe it's a good thing that they are in China where most are petite and small and able to be flexible and do the limbo just to 'go'....at least Megan got to leave a 'piece' of her behind...haha her sunglasses!! Poor Megan, I can imagine she was quite sad!
