We are heading out via limo...at 3:00 am! Flight leaves at 5:o5 am! I can't believe it is finally here. I have had some moments of panic over the last 24 hours but overall we are doing well. Kids all went to bed really well and a little early! Todd and I decided not to sleep since we are leaving so early!
We have so much packed it is scary. Over the course of the 15 days we will fly on 6 airplanes, stay in 4 hotels, go to 3 different provinces in China, ride on numerous shuttles and taxis, ride on 1 train and in 1 limo...wait I guess it is 2 limos(that is our transportation to and from the airport). I am too scared to even count the luggage! And last but not least, we will come back a family of 6 and a little girl will have a forever family.
I know we have a lot of exhausting days ahead and some will be fun and others very hard. I appreciate all of you who have emailed us with your encouraging words, thoughts, and prayers. We all really appreciate it!!!!
Off to line up the suitcases...see you in China!!

Good luck in your journey. Just remember that that Jesus is with you every step of the way and will carry you when you need it.
I was trying to imagine where you are right now - in a plane, wishing the kids would fall asleep, trying to keep busy while watching the little airplane on the screen map fly at a snails pace - been there, done that TOO many times to count :0) Didn't enjoy it any of them, either! You are in our constant prayers, Ellie and Evie keep asking when they get to see Lauran, so you better post LOTS of pics for us!! Love you - Stacey
Just checking in to see if you updated anything on your blog. I just now realized it's been a whole 24 hours since you left your house for China....so I'm assuming that right now you are A. sleeping B. finding something chocolate to eat C. a zombie with jet lag or D. maybe a combo of all the above.....lol
I sure hope ur able to post from China or the next 14 days will be VERY loooong!
